Parents Fight For, Teachers Unions Against School Choice

Decline to Sign Arizona is fighting against Save our School (SOS) Arizona PAC, which is a government school teachers union aligned organization. SOS has filed for a veto referendum that, if successful, would put the Expanded Scholarship Account, ESA, school voucher program for all Arizona children on hold, depriving Arizona children, and their parents, of resources for choosing their education. The veto referendum would then go on the ballot where the teachers unions will aim to defeat school choice in Arizona once and for all. Decline to Sign is holding protests this coming Saturday, August 13, near locations where SOS is gathering signatures for their anti-children veto referendum. Details can be found here. Decline to Sign - their facebook page is here - will hold peaceful protests at the following locations:

Public school teachers unions and the government educational complex want to stamp out all competition to government schools which they control via their excellent organizational capabilities and political savvy. Conservatives and libertarians could learn a thing or two from the left about how to organize people and find strength in numbers. Public school teachers unions frequently go on strike (see picture), for the children as they claim, while schools are closed and children aren't learning. They successfully lobbied the CDC to close every public school in America during the Covid-Government lockdowns. Parents seem to have somewhat woken up. Let's see if they can organize to find the strength to fight and defeat the entrenched government educational establishment that robs families of income (via taxes) and then uses this for political purposes while neglecting education.

While we applaud the efforts to help military veterans, seniors, ill or disabled people with low income or shelter housing issues, we don’t want illegal aliens, foreign and domestic terrorists or convicted felons included in our housing and homeless programs supported by our federal, state, county or local tax dollars.

Maricopa County is proposing to build a 500 unit low income housing project on Ocotillo just east of Arizona Ave. in Chandler. The impact to our community includes: increase in students per classroom, ratio of police to residents including more traffic (with a current police shortage), our pending water shortage, plus demand on our electric grid.

(As quoted from recent news reports) "A surge of Illegal Alien families are arriving…
